Lore

The Will-o’-the-Wisp is a ghostly light from European folklore, said to drift through marshes, forests, and lonely roads after dark. Travelers who followed the flickering glow often became hopelessly lost, lured deeper into dangerous swamps or hidden wilderness by the dancing spirit. Some legends claimed the lights were wandering souls unable to rest, while others believed they were mischievous fae delighting in leading humans astray. Floating silently above the mist, the Will-o’-the-Wisp became one of folklore’s most haunting symbols of temptation and mystery.
