Lore

Swan Maids are enchanting shapeshifters from European folklore who could transform between human form and graceful swans by means of magical feathered cloaks. Legends tell of these mysterious maidens descending from the sky or emerging from hidden lakes to dance beneath the moonlight. Though often gentle and otherworldly, Swan Maids were deeply tied to freedom and the wild spirit of nature. Stories warned that anyone who stole a Swan Maid’s feathered cloak could bind her to the mortal world, though her longing for the open sky could never truly be extinguished.
