Lore

The Aziza are magical forest spirits from the folklore of West Africa, most closely associated with the forests of Benin and Togo. Said to dwell deep within ancient jungles hidden from ordinary eyes, the Aziza were known as guardians of wisdom, hunting knowledge, and sacred magic. Legends describe them as small supernatural beings who could bless or aid those who respected the forest, while punishing those who entered with greed or cruelty. Hunters and travelers sometimes claimed to glimpse flickering lights and hear soft voices moving between the trees, believing the Aziza were watching from the shadows of the wilderness.
